Sir: -

With reference to the stranding of yet another

vessel on the Paracels it seems that something ought

to be done to have this danger to navigation lighted

or otherwise marked.

Could you, Mr. Editor, inform me to whom these

rocks belong, and if, as I have heard, they are "public

property", is it not time for some sort of international,

commission to put in hand the efficient marking of

this constant danger to the China Sea?
